Great Lakes Burn Camp winter camp is a fun-filled four days in February. GLBC Winter Camp is held in Northern Michigan at the UAW Black Lake Conference Centers near Cheboygan, Michigan. Here the children enjoy warm, comfortable accommodations, great food, and supervised activities. Due to generous donations there is NO CHARGE for campers to attend.
Outdoor activities include sledding, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobile rides, ice fishing, and campfires with hot chocolate.
Indoor activities include swimming, basketball, ping pong, billiards, arts and crafts, archery, and a movie night with popcorn and candy.
Because the health and welfare of our campers is our number one priority, a nurse and social worker are always on site along with paramedics, firefighters, teachers, police officers and others to ensure a fun and safe environment.
All activities are under constant adult supervision with at least two camp counselors present at any given time for any activity.
